I want to live at 42 North. What do I need
to do now?
We're so excited that you've chosen 42 North as your home away from
home! Securing your spot with us is as easy as visiting our
website. Apply, pay your application fee, and sign your lease, all
online from anywhere in the world! Be sure your have a copy of your
driver's license or photo ID, and payment method to complete your
application.
You can also complete the lease signing process with a staff member
by scheduling an appointment with our office, or simply walking in
during our office hours. We will then complete all the
necessary paperwork and go through the lease, which takes about 30
minutes.
Does 42 North allow pets? To help ensure ALL of our
residents understand our pet and animal-related policies (No Pet
and Animal Policy / Pet Policy / Animal Policy), we require
EVERYONE to complete a third-party screening and review process.
This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related
policy acknowledgments and accurate pet / animal records.
There is a nominal fee for a household pet screening Pet Profile.
This is a separate charge from the rental application fee. There is
no ($0) charge for an assistance animal accommodation request and
no ($0) charge for a 'No Pet / Animal' profile. Please visit

What does my rent installment
include?
Cable, Internet, water, and trash are included in each
installment.
What are my lease
options?
We offer 12 installment leases.
What if I need
roommates?
We offer a roommate matching service. Every resident completes a
detailed roommate profile questionnaire prior to moving in, which
42 North uses to match compatible residents based on their
responses, including sleep habits, pets, lifestyle, schedule,
etc.
How do I pay the rental installment or any
other fees?
Payments can be made online 24/7 with E-check, debit cards, and
credit cards (Visa, Discover,
Mastercard).
Do I have to pay a move-in fee or
application fee when I sign my lease?
Yes, there’s a $50 application fee. Activity or service fees may
apply. Please check with our team for current specials and
additional fees.
If I am over 21, do I need to have a
guarantor?
Yes. Every resident must have a guarantor. A suitable guarantor is
at least 25 years old and a resident of the United States. If you
do not have someone who meets these qualifications, you can qualify
through the LEAP
Program.
Can other people take over my
lease?
Yes. The interested individual will need to come in to fill out the
paperwork and be approved by management to successfully take over
your lease. You are still responsible for your lease up until the
day the new resident moves
in. There is a $500 lease
takeover fee.

What is Rent Plus? Build your credit by paying your rent
on time!
Rent Plus enables you to build your credit by simply paying your
rent on time. This means no additional lines of credit, no loans,
no credit cards, and no high-interest rates. Simply pay your rent
on time each month and Rent Plus will take care of the rest.

What kind of cable package comes with my
apartment?
Extended cable is included in each apartment. If you would like to
upgrade your cable or add DVR, you can do so by contacting Airwaves
and following their hassle-free and quick instructions.
What should I
bring?
Bedding – Standard
full-size sheets. Standard mattresses are provided on every bed. We
recommend purchasing a mattress pad or topper if you need
additional support.
Bathroom
Accessories – Shower Curtain, Towels,
etc.
Kitchen Utensils –
Pots and Pans, Silverware, Dishes, Cups, Bowls,
etc.
What brand are the kitchen appliances and washer and
dryer?
All appliances are full-size including a washer and dryer,
refrigerator, microwave, stove-top, and oven.
What size are the beds?
Our beds are standard full-size. We recommend purchasing queen size
sheets, to ensure your sheets will fit your bed. Standard
mattresses are provided for every bed. We recommend purchasing a
mattress pad or topper if you require additional
support.
What type of Internet is included? We offer high-speed, upgraded wireless Internet
throughout the community.
What do I need to hook up my computer to the
Internet?
To connect to the wireless you will need a wireless card. Most
computers today come with a wireless card built in.
What are the fitness center hours?
Our fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Residents
can access the fitness center at any time using their key
card.
Is parking available?
Yes, we provide one free parking permit per resident. Reserved
parking spaces can be purchased for $15/month
What if I have a problem with an appliance or an emergency
maintenance problem?
42 North provides 24-hour emergency maintenance. We will repair all
broken appliances and provide replacements if necessary.
